Boston TechBreakfast: Featuring Janeiro Digital

By Jonathan Bingham | July 13, 2015

We’re excited to announce that tomorrow – Tuesday, July 14 – Janeiro Digital will be at Boston’s TechBreakfast showcasing our new application Axis Radius!

In today’s society, we have all become dependent on some form of GPS. Whether we are driving or walking through a new city, the GPS has become a technological guardian angel that we expect to direct us to our desired destination. Yet, although your GPS may lead one toward the vicinity of a particular destination, a disconnect still remains in getting directly to an endpoint.

Here’s where Axis Radius comes to the rescue.

While there are many location based products giving insight as to what is nearby, Axis Radius is a walking app providing a simple and intuitive user experience through the integration of a “point and shoot” system, which then provides real-time results.

How many times have you arrived for a meeting at an office park in a local suburb not knowing the exact building where the meeting is located? With Axis Radius, users can avoid this dilemma by manually pointing their phone toward a structure to conduct a directional lookup and get exactly to where they need to be.

The ultimate purpose of Axis Radius is to be as simple as possible and help users immediately know what they’re looking at and the spaces around them.

At TechBreakfast, a community of entrepreneurs, startup junkies and tech enthusiasts come together to view demos from industries ranging from robotics, to hardware and beyond. We’ll be discussing how useful Axis Radius can be, especially here in Boston – it’s easy to get lost! Also, we’ll take a look at future opportunities with this pedestrian navigation technology after showcasing a short demo.
